About the Sexual Assault Interagency Council of Okaloosa & Walton Counties

VISION:
The Okaloosa/Walton Sexual Assault Interagency Council shall promote a safe and secure environment, free of sexual violence.

MISSION:
The Okaloosa/Walton Sexual Assault Interagency Council will effect change by:

1.) Encouraging prevention of sexual assault through education and greater public awareness of issues concerning sexual violence;
2.) Holding offenders accountable for their actions and the consequences thereof;
3.) Protecting victims of sexual crime and linking them to effective service providers;
4.) Facilitating interagency collaboration.
